General Richard Butler Vagabonds Drum and Bugle Corps is located at 138 Whitestown Road Lyndora, Pennsylvania 16045

The only surviving 41 year old drum and bugle corps in Western Pennsylvania, dedicated to the youth of Butler County. The General Richard Butler Vagabonds Junior Drum and Bugle Corps were organized February 16, 1966 as an all male corps by Andrew Yaracs Jr, Butler City Police Officer Leo Burgess, and Alexander Shott. The corps was named by the citizens of Butler County from a radio contest held on WBUT by Larry Berg, owner of the radio station. The Vagabonds decided to go coed in 1969 with the color guard, and in 1970 in all areas.

The Vagabonds drum corps has participated in field contests and parades in 38 states in the USA and Canada. The Vagbonds won the Class A Championship in Marion, Ohio in 1968, 1969, and 1971. The Vagabonds Drum Corps was the best marching and playing military unit at the Baltimore, Maryland National VFW Parade in 1990, in the New Orleans, Louisiana 1991 parade, Indianapolis, Indiana in 1992, and Dallas, Texas in 1993. The Vagabonds were members of the Midwest Drum Corps organization and had 3 successful years competing in the division, along with competing in the DCI Division III.
